Aquamarine rings Gemmyo
Aquamarine is one of the most highly prized gemstones for its crystalline blue hue, purity and symbolic dimension.
Dazzling and extremely soft, it is unusual in that it has virtually no inclusions. It is also one of the most resistant semi-precious stones on the planet, rated between 7.5 and 8/10 on the Mohs scale.
Its almost translucent blue hues naturally led it into the hands of sailors, who used it as a protective talisman. Even today, aquamarines are thought to have virtues of protection and fidelity, which explains why they are often chosen to celebrate a birth or an engagement - even if diamonds remain the undisputed choice for this occasion.
CHOOSE YOUR AQUAMARINE RING
All our aquamarine rings are available in white gold, yellow gold, rose gold or platinum.
Combined with white metals (white gold or platinum), aquamarine's pastel blue reflections reveal all their elegance. For a warmer jewel, we recommend warming up aquamarine with rose gold. The combination of the two is soft and very harmonious.
To find out your finger size and choose the right size for your aquamarine ring, we advise you to make an appointment in shop. This will enable you to measure your finger size reliably in the company of our advisers. We can also send you a ring sizer free of charge to the address of your choice.
And don't hesitate to personalise your aquamarine ring with the engraving of your choice
HOW TO LOOK AFTER YOUR AQUAMARINE JEWELLERY
Aquamarine is a crystalline stone and therefore requires regular care. Deposits of soap, cream or even dust can become lodged under the stone and prevent the light from reflecting perfectly on the crystal.
To care for your aquamarine ring, simply clean it regularly with a little warm, soapy water and a small, soft-bristled brush. Once or twice a year, we also recommend that you have it professionally cleaned in-store. This is a service we offer free of charge throughout the life of your Gemmyo jewellery.
