Confidentiality policy

The General Data Protection Regulation is a set of laws put in place by the European Commission on May 25, 2018 for all companies operating in Europe. At Gemmyo, we are therefore affected by this!

What does this mean in concrete terms?

In order to protect Internet users from data leaks or misuse of personal data, it is now mandatory for companies to inform visitors of all computer processing carried out on the basis of the data collected. At Gemmyo, the collection of this data is limited to what is strictly necessary to ensure the smooth running of your order and the various services we offer (online appointment booking, ring request, etc.).

We have nothing to hide, we want to be as transparent as possible, so we will tell you everything!

Does Gemmyo keep my personal data?

Some companies exchange customer files for commercial prospecting purposes, but, rest assured, at Gemmyo this will never be the case. All the data we collect remains with us and will never be given, rented or sold to a third party.

Is my password secure?

All passwords are stored "encrypted" and it is impossible to decrypt them. They are therefore safe.

And my credit card number?

For credit card payments, we work with Monetico du CIC to guarantee the protection of your data. The processing of your order goes through a secure payment gateway which, like all our site, uses the HTTPS protocol. Thus your banking data are protected and encrypted, and at no time do we store or have access to your credit card number.

What personal data do you collect about me?

Order

When you create a customer account on our site, we record in our systems all the information necessary for the placing of an order: your email, your first and last name, your postal address and your telephone number in order to prepare and deliver your package.

These order details are only transmitted to our transport provider who works to ensure that the package reaches you.

The service provider has absolutely no right to use your data for anything other than processing your order and must delete the data from its computer system after processing. This service provider stores the data in data centers in Europe.

However, if you choose to have your order delivered outside of Europe, your data such as your postal address will necessarily be transmitted to the logistics services of the carrier who will deliver to you in that country.

La Lettre

If you have given us your consent, we use your email address to send you La Lettre. Remember that if you don't want to receive emails, you can unsubscribe at any time by clicking on the "unsubscribe" link located at the bottom of our newsletters or directly on the site in your account area. The effect is immediate.

Contact, appointment, or resizing request

If you make a request for a contact, an appointment or a resizing, we use your name, first name, title, email address and phone number to allow you to contact our team and receive a reply.

Moreover, if your request concerns a ring sizer we also use your postal address which will be sent, with your details, to our courrier to ensure the delivery of the ring sizer.
