Our diamond qualities

At Gemmyo we allow you to choose between 3 qualities of diamonds
First of all, the HSI quality, offered for on all our diamonds, which we consider to be the best value for money. These "white" diamonds have small inclusions that are invisible to the naked eye but visible with a x10 magnifying glass. Their colour is almost colourless, but very slightly yellowish.
The GVS quality is a superior quality. These "extra white +" diamonds have no inclusions visible to the naked eye and have very small inclusions that are difficult to see with a x10 loupe. Their colour is whiter than for the HSI quality.
The DIF quality is the best choice for those who are looking for the perfect diamond. These are completely colourless, and have no inclusions visible to the naked eye or under a x10 magnifying glass. These are the purest diamonds used in jewelry.
Above 0.3 carat, our center diamonds are accompanied by a GIA or HRD certificate.

The design

The design of the Thésée Duo ring in 18K black gold and Garnet, is the masculine version of the Ariane Pavée ring, thus taking up the motif of two beings who are linked even in distance. The metal wire of which it is composed is sharply angled. In technical terms this is called a "square wire". Inside this rectangle are two 2 mm stones that literally seem to float on the finger. To give this impression of weightlessness, Gemmyo has createdand developed a unique setting, closed on three sides of the rectangle surrounding the stone, but entirely open on the other. Notches, almost invisible to the naked eye, are made in the metal to better hold the stone.

"The Thésée Duo ring has it all: geometric lines, a presence on the finger, and two stones that remain discreet but add a precious touch. As with all rings that feature tiny stones, I recommend choosing two diamonds, two rubies, two emeralds or two sapphires - it will stand out better!"
