The design
This design in 18K white gold and Ruby is a tribute to the legend of the Minotaure. The flat, square-edged, 6 mm wide ring that makes up the design takes up the idea of the geometry of the labyrinth. In its centre, a groove with a rounded base is cut into the body of the ring and highlighted by brushing the metal: it embodies Thesée' path through the alleys of the labyrinth. At the point where the two parts of the groove are to meet, a square measuring 2 mm by 2 mm has been set, symbolising the Minotaure hidden in the labyrinth's lair.
