The design
The Amelia ring in Emerald and 18K white gold is astonishing in its sophistication and its illusion of movement. With a body shaped like a helix, it creates the illusion of a swirling movement from which the central, 5 mm, round-cut stone emerges. The meticulous setting work gives an impression of delicacy and liveliness. In order to recreate the progressive finesse of the helix nearer to the stone, no less than four sizes of pavé diamonds, ranging from 0.8 mm to 1.2 mm in diameter, are required.

"The Amelia ring is a classic design, revisited with originality. I would recommend it to a bride-to-be who is looking for an alternative to the traditional solitaire. I think any center stone would work here, but I personally find white gold to be the ideal metal to showcase a delicate setting like this. As for the wedding band, there is no choice other than to wear a very curved wedding band... or to wear the wedding band on one hand and the engagement ring on the other!"
