Our diamond qualities

At Gemmyo we allow you to choose between 3 qualities of diamonds
First of all, the HSI quality, offered for on all our diamonds, which we consider to be the best value for money. These "white" diamonds have small inclusions that are invisible to the naked eye but visible with a x10 magnifying glass. Their colour is almost colourless, but very slightly yellowish.
The GVS quality is a superior quality. These "extra white +" diamonds have no inclusions visible to the naked eye and have very small inclusions that are difficult to see with a x10 loupe. Their colour is whiter than for the HSI quality.
The DIF quality is the best choice for those who are looking for the perfect diamond. These are completely colourless, and have no inclusions visible to the naked eye or under a x10 magnifying glass. These are the purest diamonds used in jewelry.
Above 0.3 carat, our center diamonds are accompanied by a GIA or HRD certificate.

We carefully select our sapphires for their deep blue colour, the most sought-after shade. It's this shade that you will find in all our sapphire jewelry.
However to bring an even stronger symbolism to your jewelry, we also offer you the chance to choose a particular shade of sapphire for your jewelry. You can therefore personalise your creation with a shade of sapphire that will please you the most, from the lightest blue to the strongest shades.
Our sapphire qualities

All our coloured stones are certified AAA, the guarantee of a stone of excellent quality, perfectly sharp and dazzling. Among our sapphires, some exceptional stones, particularly rare because of their colour, their purity or their size, are distinguished by our specialists as "Exceptional Sapphires" (noted as EXC on our website). These sapphires represent less than 0.5 % of extracted stones, and are available as a unique copy in store, depending on what we have in stock. EXC

An exceptional sapphire is of a particularly deep; blue color called “Royal Blue”. Neither too light nor too dark, its shade is extremely rare!

The design

The Mada ring in Platinum and Garnet is one of the flagship models of the Gemmyo collections. It is a seemingly traditional ring, with a central stone and a diamond surround. However, it is in its details that the Mada ring surprises and seduces: firstly, the cushion-cut centre stone gives the jewel a soft curvature rarely found in jewelry; secondly, the design of the ring, round and greedy, brings a discreet modernity to the central motif. Finally, the ring head, set with diamonds and held in place by two thin rails, brings a geometric purity to the whole.

A word from our designer

"For me, Mada is one of the most successful syntheses between the tradition of classic engagement rings and the refined grace that our customers are looking for. For a little "Kate" touch, I recommend it in white gold or platinum with a sapphire. For a little more originality, opt for rose gold and aquamarine. Finally, if you're looking for shine above all else, go for diamonds of course!
