Our diamond qualities

At Gemmyo we allow you to choose between 3 qualities of diamonds
First of all, the HSI quality, offered for on all our diamonds, which we consider to be the best value for money. These "white" diamonds have small inclusions that are invisible to the naked eye but visible with a x10 magnifying glass. Their colour is almost colourless, but very slightly yellowish.
The GVS quality is a superior quality. These "extra white +" diamonds have no inclusions visible to the naked eye and have very small inclusions that are difficult to see with a x10 loupe. Their colour is whiter than for the HSI quality.
The DIF quality is the best choice for those who are looking for the perfect diamond. These are completely colourless, and have no inclusions visible to the naked eye or under a x10 magnifying glass. These are the purest diamonds used in jewelry.
Above 0.3 carat, our center diamonds are accompanied by a GIA or HRD certificate.

Our rubies come from Burma or Mozambique and feature a beautiful pinkish red hue: a flamboyant red with fuschia highlights. We prefer stones with low inclusions and good brilliance.
Our ruby qualities

Ruby is a naturally included and particularly rare stone. This is why our AAA quality rubies have a beautiful brilliance but are slightly cloudy. EXC quality is distinguished by its high purity, its deep red color with deep carmine nuances, and its intense brilliance: the color reacts to warm light and shows brilliance in all circumstances. This particularly rare and hard-to-find quality is available in limited quantities, depending on our supplies.

The design

The Little Lady Duo engagement ring in Platinum and Tourmaline is a so-called "shouldered" solitaire with a 5 mm centre stone accompanied by two 3 mm diamonds on either side. It is a very balanced piece of jewelry that is particularly graceful in diamond, sapphire, aquamarine or ruby.

A word from our designer

"An engagement ring is not always a classic solitaire! The proof is in the form of this shoulder solitaire model, which we have adapted with a 5 mm centre stone instead of the 6 mm for the model Lady Duo.It's always a challenge for me to reimagine an existing design, but in this case I'm particularly proud of the result: a bright, elegant and robust engagement ring... with three stones, what more could you want?"
