Our diamond qualities

At Gemmyo we allow you to choose between 3 qualities of diamonds
First of all, the HSI quality, offered for on all our diamonds, which we consider to be the best value for money. These "white" diamonds have small inclusions that are invisible to the naked eye but visible with a x10 magnifying glass. Their colour is almost colourless, but very slightly yellowish.
The GVS quality is a superior quality. These "extra white +" diamonds have no inclusions visible to the naked eye and have very small inclusions that are difficult to see with a x10 loupe. Their colour is whiter than for the HSI quality.
The DIF quality is the best choice for those who are looking for the perfect diamond. These are completely colourless, and have no inclusions visible to the naked eye or under a x10 magnifying glass. These are the purest diamonds used in jewelry.
Above 0.3 carat, our center diamonds are accompanied by a GIA or HRD certificate.

Important : the paving stones will be at least EVVS qualified.
We cannot guarantee a DIF quality for all paving stones as the paving isn't certified by an international laboratory.

However to bring an even stronger symbolism to your jewelry, we also offer you the chance to choose a particular shade of sapphire for your jewelry. You can therefore personalise your creation with a shade of sapphire that will please you the most, from the lightest blue to the strongest shades.
Our sapphire qualities

All our coloured stones are certified AAA, the guarantee of a stone of excellent quality, perfectly sharp and dazzling. Among our sapphires, some exceptional stones, particularly rare because of their colour, their purity or their size, are distinguished by our specialists as "Exceptional Sapphires" (noted as EXC on our website). These sapphires represent less than 0.5 % of extracted stones, and are available as a unique copy in store, depending on what we have in stock. Like all our coloured stones, our emeralds are of excellent quality, with a perfect cut and shine. The AAA certification attests to this quality. Amongst our emeralds, some stones that are unusual in their great purity are distinguished by our specialists as "Exceptional Emeralds" (noted EXC on our site). These emeralds represent a very small proportion of the stones extracted. They are therefore available in very limited quantities depending on of our supplies. They offer you the guarantee of a unique and precious jewel.

Gemmyo rubies

Our rubies come from Burma or Mozambique and feature a beautiful pinkish red hue: a flamboyant red with fuschia highlights. We prefer stones with low inclusions and good brilliance.
Our ruby qualities

Ruby is a naturally included and particularly rare stone. This is why our AAA quality rubies have a beautiful brilliance but are slightly cloudy. EXC quality is distinguished by its high purity, its deep red color with deep carmine nuances, and its intense brilliance: the color reacts to warm light and shows brilliance in all circumstances. This particularly rare and hard-to-find quality is available in limited quantities, depending on our supplies.

The design

The Lady XL earrings in 18K rose gold revisit with finesse one of the great classics: the diamond "chip" earrings. To achieve this, the Gemmyo design studio has spent a long time working on this deceptively simple piece of jewelry: firstly to find exactly the right diamond size (the one that guarantees the best "price-effect" ratio), and secondly to offer earrings with extremely fine but nevertheless solid claws. The diamonds chosen (4 mm) make it possible to have a jewel that is more opulent than the "classic" Lady pieces while maintaining a certain subtlety.

A word from our designer

"The Lady XL earrings in 18K rose gold are a direct result of our customers' requests. After the success of the "classic" Lady earrings, we had many requests for slightly larger stones... but at an affordable price. This is now a reality with the Lady XL earrings and their 4 mm stones!
